Nestled in the historic Armenian Street, George town, TONG restaurant is housed in a captivating building with a mesmerising architectural tale. The building's history gracefully unfolds through an enchanting juxtaposition of modern concrete and weathered brick walls, symbolising the seamless blend of past and present. As guests step inside, they are immediately entranced by the exposed ceiling, revealing the building's fascinating journey through time.
The dining area boasts walls adorned with Shou-shugi ban burnt wood, eloquently recounting the building's fiery past and leaving visitors enchanted by the echoes of time.
As part of our soft launch, we are delighted to introduce our experiential menu, offering an exclusive preview of our culinary masterpieces, including not-to-be-missed small plates like the Baked Brie Cheese with Salted Egg Tomato Salsa, the Yuzu Kombu Capellini with Caviar, and our signature flaming Foie Gras Claypot Rice with Serrano Ham.
